Egis Projects Ireland is an Irish registered company established in 2001 and is owned by Egis Projects S.A. based in France. Egis is an international group offering engineering, project structuring and operations services. In engineering and consulting, its sectors of activity include transport, urban development, building, industry, water, environment and energy. In roads and airports, its offer is enlarged to encompass project structuring, equity investment, turnkey systems delivery, operation and maintenance services and mobility services. Employing 13,800 people, including 8,400 in engineering, the group generated a managed turnover of €1.020 billion in 2016.
Egis is 75%-owned by the French “Caisse des Dépôts” and 25%-owned by Iosis Partenaires (a “partner” executive and employee shareholding).
Activity in Ireland | Egis Projects Ireland has invested considerably in the development of Ireland’s transport infrastructure over the last 16 years, greatly improving the efficiency of tolling, operations and the maintenance on over 400km of Irelands Motorway and National Road Network on the M1, M7, M8, M9, the N25 and over 5km of motorway tunnels located in Dublin, Cork and Limerick.
In addition, Egis Projects Ireland provides intelligent transport system solutions, as well as deliver and manage projects on behalf of the State and Concessionaire Companies such as Speed Enforcement (GoSafe), The Motorway Traffic Control Centre (TII), Vehicle Tag management, fleet management and Mobility Services (EasyTrip).
