6 months into 2024 with FICC

We are already halfway through 2024 and it’s time for the France Ireland Chamber of Commerce (FICC) to look back on the numerous events we've organised this year.

Once again, FICC has strived to host prestigious and engaging events and meetings for our 180+ members, fostering opportunities for networking and collaboration.

We would like to take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt thanks to our members and partners - together with their support, we continue to accomplish our mission.

The year kicked off with the highly anticipated FICC Members Soirée, generously hosted by H.E. Vincent GUEREND. This gathering was followed by Le NETwork meetings and a wide variety of events covering diverse topics, from Leveraging Generative AI (in partnership with Alliance Française Dublin) to Attracting and Retaining Top Talent (in collaboration with Cpl).

The year was marked by our bi-annual Business Lunch at Medley by Andrew Rudd. We were honoured to welcome Andrew Lowe, Co-CEO and Founder of Element Pictures Group as our guest speaker. He was interviewed by Dearbhail McDonald, renowned author, journalist and broadcaster.

Later in June, the #Tech Working Group brought together industry experts, tech enthusiasts and sports professionals for an insightful discussion on the latest advancements in sports analytics and technology. This event was organised in collaboration with La French Tech Dublin.

We also welcomed a new V.I.E, Lucas Despin, working for the French company Epsiline - WindEagle through our Landing Space Service. We still have two available hosting spots for V.I.E positions. Please contact Léa Biagi or visit our website for more information.

FICC organised two Fireside Chats with CEOs in the past few months. Aine Murray, President, had the pleasure of chatting with Della O'Donoghue, Managing Director of M-CO and Martin Dempsey, Country Manager of Sanofi. The Climate Response Working Group also delivered a fantastic webinar on Sustainable Transport in Ireland earlier this year. Both webinars and fireside chats can be replayed on our website.
