Climate Response Working Group – La vie en vert
Today 5th June is World Environment Day (WED) and to mark this important date, the FICC Working Group on Climate Change announces its new title:
Climate Response – La vie en vert
It is clear that human society is having an impact on our planet and its climate. We need to take action to mitigate this impact.
Many FICC members are leading the way and taking their own actions to mitigate climate impact. This Working Group’s scope seeks to harness that action towards a more cohesive awareness and positive effect in the franco-irish business society.
WG Climate Response – La vie est vert is chaired by Mary Honohan, PwC and co-chaired by Aine Murray, Veolia.
The group conducted a survey on the topic of Climate Impact and how FICC members are interacting with this.
With over 40 responses from our members, we present here the key results of the survey that will guide the future strategy of WG Climate Response – La vie en vert
FICC has established a core committee responsible for developing this Working Group, including representatives from Bailey Hygiene, JCDecaux, Mazars, PwC and Veolia.
We look forward to involving more FICC members as we plan future activities and best practices.
