Mazars in Ireland rebrands as part of new global identity

Mazars rolls out rebrand in over 90 countries and territories internationally

21 October 2020: Mazars in Ireland, the audit, accountancy, advisory and tax firm, has today unveiled its new brand. The brand is a new global identity and has been launched by the company in over 90 countries and territories, marking a key milestone in the firm’s evolution.

The global rebrand reflects Mazars’ aspiration to bring choice and a different perspective to the audit, tax and advisory market, and reaffirms its commitment to building a fair, prosperous and sustainable world.

Commenting on the rebrand, Mark Kennedy Managing Partner of Mazars in Ireland stated, “This is a momentous milestone for Mazars in Ireland, and the rebrand is a clear indication of our ambition for the future. The Mazars brand has been part of the Irish professional services market for over thirty years. In the past couple of years, we have seen significant growth. We have increased our headcount, expanded our service offering across various sectors, and increased our overall market share because of the quality of our people and our approach. We have built a strong position serving the needs of many large corporate and privately owned businesses in Ireland and internationally.

“With the UK Brexit transition period coming to an end on January 1st, 2021, this year was always going to be an important one for the economy, our clients and our own business across Ireland. Added to this, the unprecedented impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on professional services, the broader economy and indeed society, and the year takes on an even greater significance. It is against this backdrop that our rebrand becomes more meaningful, as a statement of what we see to be opportunities for Irish businesses and the economy as a whole. While issues such as Brexit and COVID-19 are undoubted challenges, we believe that positive collaboration with clients will enable them to navigate these uncertainties and be positioned for future opportunities.”

Hervé Hélias, CEO & Chairman of Mazars Group said: “I’m very excited to reveal our new brand identity and positioning, after two years of deep and broad consultation with our partners, employees, clients and stakeholders. It reflects who we are today and confirms our aspirations for the type of firm we want to be in the future. We are one connected team around the world, with the scale to serve large international clients and the agility to be creative and personal in our approach. In each country we operate, our teams combine cultural understanding with a global perspective, offering clients of all shapes and sizes a true partnership, one that gives them confidence in their business and helps them achieve their ambitions.

“In 75 years, our guiding principles haven’t changed, but our firm has. We have doubled in size in the past ten years. The diversity of our offerings, clients and talent has flourished as we have grown. Today, we work with nearly 2,000 PIE clients around the world on their audit; and we also serve many more large corporates in a non-audit capacity. At the same time, we serve over 50,000 privately owned and family businesses, from private clients and start-ups to mature international clients.”

Mazars is launching the rebrand on the back of steady, balanced growth and successful expansion, which reflects its strong position in the marketplace. The rebrand also recognises Mazars’ evolution into an international group, now present in over 90 countries and territories, with a total of over 40,000 professionals supporting Mazars’ clients around the world. The firm continues to invest in audit - expertise, technology, quality control - and to actively shape the debate for enabling a healthy and sustainable audit industry. The rebrand also reaffirms Mazars’ purpose and long-standing values of integrity, responsibility and accountability.
