Perennial Freight is delighted to become a Patron of the France Ireland Chamber of Commerce. Through their networking activities, briefings and in light of Brexit we see huge opportunities to develop French – Irish businesses in new and existing markets.
Perennial Freight is a door to door Irish owned international transport company that provides logistics solutions to its clients. With a fleet of over 100 trucks, 700 trailers and six European offices we are now one of Ireland’s largest transport companies operating Ro/Ro and Lo/Lo services to the UK & Europe.
The Ireland to France Ro/Ro market is estimated at 35,000 full loads per year of which Perennial Freight now carries over 25%, making us the single biggest operator on the route and the “go to” company for France. We have operated a JV with our French partner Allianceurope since 2001 which allows us market penetration and backed up by local knowledge and expertise.
As Brexit approaches the business community is looking to transport companies such as Perennial Freight for solutions to get their products to market. We are ideally positioned to offer these solutions through our network of direct services from Ireland to European ports such as Cherbourg, Santander, Rotterdam and Zeebrugge.
As the economy improves and freight volumes increase, we are strongly of the belief that Dublin Port is reaching peak capacity and ports such as Rosslare Europort now needs strategic infrastructural investment to develop more direct services to Europe. Perennial Freight is engaging with and supporting the various State agencies with their plans to future proof Rosslare Europort as the gateway to Europe.

His doctoral research focused on Purpose and Profit: how to Deliver Margins & Create Good.

The company produces gripping accessories for professionals who work in the wood industry.
The company has also created software for the wood industry in order to help professionals in this industry to work with technology. As the support equipment available in the market is not efficient enough for their software, the company aims to manufacture a new type of “rugged” material with 3D printers and with technical characteristics such as being waterproof, a necessity for the field of industry.
