This year, Business France UK & Ireland organises the first edition of the Grand Prix VIE Ireland

The Grand Prix V.I.E. is a special evening at the Résidence de France, in presence of His Excellency, Vincent Guérend, the French Ambassador in Ireland to celebrate tomorrow’s business leaders. The ceremony rewards the best V.I.E. experiences between 2020 and 2021.

What is a V.I.E?

The V.I.E scheme gives French companies the opportunity to send an 18- to 28-year-old on a working assignment abroad for a flexible period of 6 to 24 months, which can be renewed once within a 2-year period.

It is open to young French candidates as well as candidates from other EEA (European Economic Area) countries. Candidates from all educational backgrounds who have fulfilled their national service obligations are welcome to apply. It appeals to highly motivated young people: recent graduates, often with some work experience or those wishing to take a year out from college.

Why highlight the Grand Prix V.I.E ?

2020 and 2021 were pretty difficult years due to the Pandemic but the Irish economy has shown exceptional resilience in this context and a unique growth in terms of hiring young professionals.

As such, Business France is proud to highlight the best talents the V.I.E programme has to offer and at the same time, to show the benefits of the scheme to new companies.
