Welcome to H.E. Stéphane Crouzat New Ambassador of French Embassy in Ireland

 

 

 

 

 

 

H.E. Stéphane Crouzat took office as Ambassador of France to Ireland on 23rd June 2017 and presented his letters of credence on 5th September 2017.

Stéphane Crouzat started his career in Foreign Affairs as Director of the French Institute of Edinburgh before joining the Directorate for Economic and Financial Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He took a number of positions in the Ministry including Desk-Officer in charge of EU-Balkans Relations and Euro-Mediterranean Partnership, Cultural and Cooperation Counsellor at the Embassy of France in Poland, Press Counsellor at the Permanent Mission of France to the United Nations in New York and Deputy-Director for Central and Eastern European and Baltic Countries.

Before coming to Ireland he was, for the last three years, diplomatic advisor to Mrs Ségolène Royal, Minister for the Environment, Energy, the Sea, in charge of International Climate Relations.

Ambassador Crouzat holds a Master in English Studies from Paris III University and graduated from Sciences Po Paris in International Relations and from the Ecole Nationale d’Administration.
