EDITORIAL FICC

Dear FICC Members,

Bonjour à toutes et à tous !

In the last month we have launched two new initiatives that we expect will bring great value to all FICC Members.

The first was the launching of a series of 5 lunch-time briefing sessions on Gen AI – the Leadership Digital & AI Enablement Series.

Gen AI is rapidly becoming a transformative technology, promising great opportunities but also potential disruption to businesses and industries.

This series, in partnership with our patron organisation, Sia and French Tech Dublin, is aimed at senior business leaders and runs until mid-May.

If you know of any members interested in joining the series, they are more than welcome. Please ask them to register using the original sign-up link so we can ensure they receive access and updates.

The second was the launching of a series of EU Social Mixers, where many of the members of bi-lateral chambers based in Ireland were offered the opportunity to network informally in the friendly ambience of Doheny & Nesbitt.

We continue this month with a packed agenda, including Le NETwork on 15th April, kindly hosted by Murex and the promotion of our highlight event of H1 2025 – a Business Lunch with key note speaker, Jim Power, economist, podcaster and blogger.

All this and much more…

Bonne lecture et à très bientôt,

Cliona McGowan

Director / Directrice Générale

LOOKING BACK TO: THE EU SOCIAL MIXER

We had our first EU Social Mixer – what a fantastic way to spend the evening at Doheny & Nesbitt!

Alongside our fellow EU Chambers, we brought together professionals from across Europe’s business landscape for an evening rich in conversations and new encounters. ??

Huge thanks to our fantastic co-hosts including German-Irish Chamber of Industry & Commerce who instigated this worthwhile initiative:
ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Ireland
ISEA Ireland-Spain Economic Association
Belgium Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Ireland
The Italian Irish Chamber of Commerce CLG

Great to see so many members from across the Chambers of Commerce come together for this special evening.

Thanks for being part of it, we look forward to seeing you at the next event!
