EDITORIAL FICC

Dear FICC Members,

I would like to wish you all a Happy New Year and I hope that 2024 has got off to a great start for you. Mes meilleurs voeux pour 2024 !

We look forward very much to meeting many of our members at the FICC Members Soirée next week, kindly hosted by H.E. Vincent Guérend, Ambassador of France to Ireland.

This will be the first live event of many that we are planning for 2024. You can get a glimpse of our highlight events for 2024 below.

For those of you travelling to Marseilles for the 6 nations France Vs Ireland rugby match on 2nd February, Provence Promotion, (the ‘IDA’ of the Provence region) have offered to set up a personalised itinerary and local meetings for any Irish companies that are interested. If you wish to pursue this offer, please contact our partner based in France - NetworkIrlande - admin@networkirlande.com

With both the rugby 6 nations and the Olympic games in France this year, we anticipate that many FICC members will travel to France, for both business and sport.

The ever-increasing maritime connections (tripled since 2020) and flight connections, and the deepening of our economic relationship in recent year (ref: The French Economic Footprint in Ireland Report), make this a great destination for Irish businesses!

Bonne lecture et à très bientôt !
