EDITORIAL FICC

Dear FICC Members,

I hope you are all enjoying these warmer climes (?) and longer days!

This month of June is a particularly busy one for the chamber, particularly in the area of events. We have three in-person events coming up, including our highlight event for H1 2024.

We are delighted to welcome Andrew Lowe, Co-CEO and Founder of Element Pictures to our Business Lunch next Thursday 13th June. Element Pictures are the producers of four times Oscar award winning production “Poor Things”, along with films such as “The Guard” (one of my favourites!), “Room” and “Garage”.

We still have some availability so do contact us to book a place at this special event, kindly sponsored by LK Shields.

The “Call for Applications” for the Ireland France Business Awards 2024, an annual collaboration between FICC and NetworkIrlande, will open very soon with a deadline for receipt of applications by Friday 13th September.  This is a great opportunity to showcase your business achievements to the Franco-Irish business community and we hope many of you will apply this year.

The awards gala dinner will take place in Paris on Thursday 14th November so “save-the-date” for now if you plan to travel for this celebration of outstanding business performance and bilateral trade between Ireland and France.

There is lots more to read here, so bonne lecture et à très bientôt!

Cliona McGowan – Director France Ireland Chamber of Commerce
