EDITORIAL FICC

Dear FICC Members,

Bonne rentrée!

I hope you are all feeling refreshed after the summer break and ready for an exciting season ahead in the Franco-Irish business community.

We have a busy few weeks coming up. The annual Brittany Ferries Lunch takes place on September 13th, followed by our next WG LE Network session at Amundi on September 23rd. On September 30th, we look forward to the latest edition of our Fireside Chat series with Mark Connolly from Murex, and on October 2nd we will gather once again for the EU Social Mixer 3, organised in collaboration with the EU Chambers and Associations based in Dublin.

Another highlight of the season will be the Ireland France Business Awards 2025, organised together with our partner NetworkIrlande. This year’s gala will be held at the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin on November 13th. Applications are still open, and the deadline to apply is Friday, September 12th. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your company’s success stories— do not miss out!

I am also delighted to welcome Estelle Maurin to the team. Estelle joins us after five years with Bpifrance and brings her expertise to the role of Business Developer. We are very excited to have her on board—bienvenue Estelle!

Bonne lecture et à bientôt !

Director / Directrice Générale

MEET OUR NEW TEAM MEMBER, ESTELLE MAURIN!

Welcome & Bienvenue Estelle to the FICC Team !

We are pleased to welcome Estelle Maurin, who joined our team on September 1st as the new Business Developer for the France Ireland Chamber of Commerce. Estelle joins us via the V.I.E. programme (Volontariat International en Entreprise), an international mobility scheme run by Business France.

After a master’s degree in international management and economics from Paris-Dauphine University, Estelle began her career at Bpifrance, the French Public Investment Bank, in Paris.

She spent three years working with innovative French startups, SMEs, and mid-cap companies, managing the development of R&D project financing programmes (France 2030) on behalf of the French government.

Estelle then joined Bpifrance's Export Department as International Programme Development Manager, where she collaborated closely with CCIFI teams, international chambers of commerce, and partners from the Team France Export for two years.

She now brings her experience to the FICC, where she joins Cliona and Léa in supporting the Chamber’s continued growth and development.
Estelle will be in charge of developing the Chamber's activity through the prospection of new members, particularly SMEs and startups in all sectors, and developing new services to meet the needs of our members and French companies looking to set up in Ireland!

You will have the opportunity to meet Estelle at our Britanny Ferries Lunch on September 13th, during upcoming Working Groups events and at the Ireland France Business Awards Gala Dinner on November 13th.
