The France Ireland Chamber of Commerce is pleased to launch a Tech Webinar Series, a new programme of four webinars taking place throughout the year and organised by the FICC Tech Working Group.

This webinar series aims to bring together experts, business leaders, and FICC members to explore key technology trends shaping today’s business environment. Each session will combine expert insights with practical business case studies and experience-sharing from FICC members, offering participants valuable perspectives and real-world applications.

For this first webinar, we are delighted to welcome Helmi Rais, Global Director for Cybersecurity at Expleo, who will share his expertise on one of the most pressing challenges facing organisations today: the rise of AI-driven cyber threats.

Artificial intelligence is no longer a futuristic abstraction, it is already reshaping the threat landscape and the defenses deployed to counter it. 

This webinar brings together practitioners and thought leaders to examine the dual nature of AI in cybersecurity: as a force multiplier for adversaries, as an accelerant for defenders, and as a system that itself must be secured.

Attendees will leave with concrete, actionable insights across three critical dimensions:

• How attackers exploit AI to automate, scale, and personalize their campaigns
• How defenders leverage AI to detect threats faster, reduce alert fatigue, and anticipate adversarial moves
• How organizations can build and deploy AI systems securely — embedding security by design
• Identify the key ways AI tools, technics and models are leveraged in offensive cyber operations (Claude Mythos, etc.)
• Evaluate current AI-powered defensive technologies and their maturity levels
• Apply a structured security framework to their organization's AI adoption roadmap
• Recognize common AI-specific vulnerabilities (prompt injection, model poisoning, supply chain risks)
• Engage in informed conversations with leadership about AI risk governance

Helmi RAIS is a cybersecurity expert with twenty years of experience. He is currently the Global CyberSecurity Practice Leader at Expleo.  He serves as the president of the Paris chapter of ISC2. Helmi RAIS is a speaker and panelist at around fifty cybersecurity-related events (TEDx, ITU, FIRST, Vivatech, InCyber, etc.).  He has published blogs and scientific papers in various specialized magazines and journals. Helmi's interests include AI CyberSecurity, PostQuantum Cryptography, Blockchain, Drones & Cars security
