Robert is widely recognised as a global industry thought leader and key driver of the national talent agenda. Robert co-led the MBO of Sigmar Recruitment and its subsequent growth to become recognized as the largest organically grown recruitment firm in Ireland before its strategic merger with Groupe Adéquat in 2018 to create a $1bn global staffing group. Robert leads strategic growth and commercial activity across the group and established Sigmar Managed Services (RPO) to support international start-ups and MNCs scale in European operations from Ireland. In addition, he leads the organisation’s marketing and communications.

Robert is founder of Talent Summit, the largest HR & Leadership conference in Ireland and one of the most respected in Europe. He is also Co-Leader of "Ireland, Gateway to Europe" trade mission to the US and co-founder of Boston College Ireland Business Council, the most influential transatlantic business leader network.
