Replay: WG Human Resources - Preparing for Gender Pay Gap Reporting
The Gender Pay Gap Information Act 2021 (the Act) is one of a series of measures announced in the National Strategy for Women and Girls 2017-2020 and was signed into Irish law on 13 July 2021. This piece of legislation will mandate organisations to report on the pay differences between female and male employees which is currently estimated at an average of 14%. Although the measures have not yet been published by Government.
Mary Cullen, Managing Director from InsightsHR joined Sharon Vize, Chair of the HR Working Group and provided our members with some of the practical steps that one could take to prepare their organisation for this legislation requirement and how one can meet their obligations.
