Work in Ireland

Ireland offers many job opportunities for foreigners. Several thousand French people have been able to integrate and participate in the Irish economy.

In recent years, the FinTech ecosystem, the Service sectors (distribution, catering, logistics, transportation, call centers, etc.), Life Sciences, Industry & Cleantech (Energy, Infrastructures and Transport) and Agrotech have been the most dynamic sectors in Jobs.

As a European Economic Area (EEA) citizen, you may also have free access to the services of the Irish employment agency - JobIreland.ie - which provides access to numerous job offers.

Being a trainee in Ireland

Irish entrepreneurs are unfamiliar with the notion of "stage", but they are happy to offer fixed-term jobs.

Below you will find a non-exhaustive list of useful websites with lists of companies that may receive trainees. We however do not claim that searching through the suggested channels is sufficient, especially in the current situation due to the pandemic.

  • www.enterprise-ireland.com/en/ : Enterprise Ireland is the government organisation responsible for the development and growth of Irish businesses in global markets, you will find information on the various businesses supported by the organisation.
  • www.irishexporters.ie: main exporting companies
  • www.goldenpages.ie: 'Pages Jaunes' equivalent directory

You can also try a couple of organisations specialised in finding internships and they might help with the work placement:
