FICC Patron JCDecaux - Insurer RedClick revealed as new dublinbikes partner

  • Dublin City Council and JCDecaux announce three-year sponsorship which will see the insurance company granted ‘RedClick dublinbikes’ naming rights and the branding of all dublinbikes inventory

RedClick, a motor and home insurance provider, is the new commercial partner of dublinbikes. This partnership marks an exciting new chapter for dublinbikes which is established as a landmark feature of the city's streetscape.  

Since its launch in 2009, dublinbikes has completed over 38 million journeys, becoming an essential transport option for Dubliners and visitors alike. 

Part of the Generali Group, a global leader in insurance and asset management, RedClick entered the Irish market in 2024 and serves over 250,000 customers with a team of 400 across Ireland and Northern Ireland. Through this sponsorship, RedClick will collaborate with dublinbikes to maintain the schemes high quality service and accessibility.

Central to this partnership is a shared commitment to promoting sustainability, road safety and healthier lifestyles. The sponsorship will also strengthen RedClick’s brand awareness in Ireland, as it aligns with its focus on delivering simple, easy-to-use solutions that benefit both its customers and the wider community.

The new RedClick dublinbikes were unveiled at Hanover Quay earlier today and will be visible on the streets of Dublin from November 23rd.  As part of the partnership RedClick branding will also feature on docking station terminal screens, service vehicles, the dublinbikes.ie website and the official dublinbikes app.
