One year later… – Ireland France Business Awards 2016 winners attest the impact of the recognition on their business

Liam Woulfe, Managing Director Grassland Agro (Best French Company in Ireland)

Being nominated as a finalist and ultimately the Winner of the French Company in Ireland Overall Award for the 2016 was a truly exciting achievement for all of us in Grassland Agro. It was only when we attended the magnificent presentation event that I and my colleagues really appreciated the achievement.
Being recognised by the France Ireland Chamber of Commerce and being chosen as a winner by the eminently accomplished Judging Panel followed by the attendance of the French Ambassador to Ireland Jean Pierre Thebault and the Ireland Ambassador to France Geraldine Byrne Nason followed by the Award being introduced and presented by An Taoiseach Enda Kenny TD made everybody associated with Grassland Agro truly proud.

Donal O’Riain, Managing Director ECOCEM (Jury Special Award for Impact on Climate Change)

“Receiving the France Ireland Business Award in 2016 marked a fantastic year for our French team. Independent and prestigious recognition for our innovative approach to sustainability in the construction sector is invaluable. Particularly as we are doubling our capacity in the French market this year to 1.4 Million tonnes. Meeting the Taoiseach was a welcome addition to the process!!”

Tony Richardson, CEO Venn Life Sciences (Best Irish Company in France)

“Venn Life Sciences were immensely proud to have won this award. As a growing European Contract Research organization, we are continually expanding the range of Clinical Trial and Drug Development services we provide to the Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical and Medical Device companies. People are the heart of our organization and this level of recognition helps us attract the caliber of clinical and technology expertise our customers deserve. The “Best Irish Company in France Award”, was a recognition of the Venn team in Ireland and France and has also formed part of our outbound marketing campaign to generate new business leads in the French Biotech market.  The connection with the France Ireland Chamber of Commerce and NetworkIrlande has helped provide content for Venn’s online Digital presence and Social Media activity. It also provides an excellent networking format for our Business Development team.”
