Renewed Forest Policy : Danone's commitment to tackling deforestation, conversion and land degradation
We are stepping up our deforestation and conversion-free strategy. Danone has been working steadily to improve transparency of its supply chains and shift to certified sustainable sources since 2010. By 2020 we achieved close to 100% certified sustainable sources across several of our highest risk commodities.
Since we launched our original Forest Policy, deforestation continues to accelerate. This is why we plan to go further and faster: delivering verified deforestation and conversion-free supply chains across five priority commodities by 2025, so we can move towards a forest-positive future.
We know that there are still many things to do and so we will work hand in hand with our suppliers and peers to progress on our targets !
