Schneider Electric, a leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, has appointed Rhonda Doyle as country president of Ireland with effect from June 1.
Rhonda is taking over from Chris Collins, who becomes senior vice president of digital buildings in the US on July 1.
Based in Dublin, Rhonda will play a vital role in scaling growth for Schneider Electric Ireland by leveraging the company’s broad portfolio of products and services.
Rhonda joined Schneider Electric in 2021. A seasoned business leader in the Irish market, she most recently held the post of vice president of customer operations in the UK and Ireland, where she led customer care, satisfaction and quality, business systems, the project management office and strategies to transform digital experiences for customers.
Prior to this, she served as senior director of field service operations, gaining valuable experience in the company’s Services division. Rhonda has been instrumental in driving success since joining the company, transforming internal processes, improving performance and service delivery and fostering strong customer relationships.
“The technology we need to tackle Ireland’s energy challenges exists today, and Schneider Electric is leading the way,” said Rhonda. “There is a huge opportunity in Ireland to reduce carbon emissions across industry and buildings, while simultaneously driving growth and profitability.
“I am eager to work closely with our talented team to continue growing the market for digital and electrical solutions, enabling grids of the future, and helping to drive the energy transition in Ireland.
“My passion for helping others grow their careers, with my experience as a mother of two, fuels my commitment to mentoring and supporting others, especially new mothers returning to work.”
Kelly Becker, President of Schneider Electric UK and Ireland, Belgium and the Netherlands, said, “Being Irish, Rhonda recognises Ireland’s strategic importance, understands its specific opportunities and needs, and is focused on unlocking its full potential.
“She brings an innovative leadership style and a strong commitment to developing high-performing teams and the business. As our ambitions for Ireland expand, her ability to foster collaboration — both within Ireland and across other markets — will continue to be a key driver of our success.”
