Sodexo named one of the Best Workplaces in Ireland
As a company dedicated to building trust in every relationship throughout its organisation, Sodexo Ireland is delighted to announce that it has been officially recognised as one of the Best Workplaces in Ireland for 2018. It’s the first year Sodexo has been named as a top Irish workplace, based on the findings of a robust employee survey and a thorough assessment of its policies and practices by the Great Place to Work Institute.
Niamh Cray, human resources director for Sodexo Ireland, said, “This is an amazing achievement for Sodexo Ireland, the definition of a great workplace is one where you trust and respect the people you work for and with, and you have great pride in what you do. Our people are fundamental to our success and therefore achieving this recognition demonstrates our commitment to providing our employees in Ireland with a great place to work.”
In 2018, Great Place to Work® Ireland enters its sixteenth year recognising great workplaces with the publication of their Best Workplaces in Ireland lists, and the number of workplaces who are realising the benefits of empowering their employees to flourish in a supportive high-trust culture continues to increase.
John Ryan, chief executive officer of Great Place to Work® Ireland, said, “The organisations on this year’s list know that beyond a certain point, employees aren’t going to be tempted by a slightly more generous financial package: they want an environment where they feel psychologically safe, encouraged to grow, provided with opportunities to develop, and empowered to do their best work.
